1. Commando - Massacre!
This scene is the masterclass in how to do 80's action, it has everything you need and it is really no wonder why it is number one! One man against a million henchmen/cannon fodder. - CHECK! Big guns and explosions - CHECK! Slow motion flying through the air action - CHECK! Awesome one liners - CHECK! Gore - CHECK! John Matrix (Schwarzenegger) makes his way to the island hideout of Arius (Dan Hedaya), the man responsible for kidnapping his daughter Jenny (a young Alyssa Milano). What follows is mass murder on a grand scale as Matrix, single handily takes out all of Arius's army. All the lucky ones die from multiple gunshot wounds but one unfortunate soldier has his arm cut off. Originally, Matrix was supposed to grab the severed arm and hit the soldier with it and say ''Need a hand?.'' However, the scene was considered too macabre and never shot. In any case, this near 15 minute slaughter fest is pure fun to watch. Although the shootout in Predator is similar, this tops it thanks to it's huge body count.
