6. Saïd Taghmaoui
This is where things start getting a little fun, and more outside the box (there it is again). Taghmaoui is a French actor, born to Moroccan parents. Hes slowly been making inroads to Hollywood over the last decade, gaining momentum in the last five years or so with parts in Traitor, Vantage Point, and GI Joe: Rise of Cobra. OK, so he hasnt had the best material for his English language films (outside of Body of Lies), but hes also an accomplished actor and writer in France, where hes proven capable of handling good material. In fact, in 1995 he co-wrote the film, La Haine, that won its director the Best Director award at Cannes that year. I first became aware of Taghmaoui when he appeared in season 6 of LOST as Ceasar, another passenger from the Ajira 316 flight. Yes, hes another LOST alum, but if theres one thing we all agree on, whether fans of that show or not, its that LOST had great casting. If Ubisoft wants to take cues on casting outside of the normal conventions, there are worse examples than LOST. Plus, Taghmaoui looks the part, so theres that. I mean, check out the image above - he's already rockin the famous grey hoodie.
