Atomic Blonde Review: 6 Ups & 4 Downs

1. The Totally Insane Ending

Again, no spoilers here, but rest assured that the final 15-or-so minutes of this movie are absolutely bat**** crazy, and if you leave the cinema not quite sure of what you just saw, don't be too hard on yourself.

Piling twist on top of plot twist on top of plot twist, it's hard to know which way is up when the credits eventually roll, but the film at least smartly leans into its own contrived nature and just totally has fun with it, resulting in an entertainingly barmy finale.

It won't be to all tastes and probably doesn't hold up to too much scrutiny on repeat viewings, but in the moment, it's hard not to laugh at the sheer ludicrousness of it all.
