Avengers: 12 BEST Abandoned Endgame & Infinity War Ideas

One of the biggest aspects of Avengers Endgame was, of course, the time heist. Ten Avengers were sent back to different places through different time periods, looking to bring all six Infinity Stones back to the present. It was an incredible plan that saw the MCU revisit some of its finest moments, but it could have been completely different.

One such difference would have taken place on Morag, and would have utilised the planet's unique aquatic properties. Typically a world covered with water, the seas recede every 300 years to reveal the temple that housed the Power Stone.

One idea of the time heist took War Machine and Nebula, the same unlikely duo that ultimately traveled together in Endgame, and dropped them at Morag while it was still flooded. Naturally this would pose more problems than simply knocking out Star-Lord and entering the temple, the biggest of which would have been a "massive eel monster".

Unfortunately, though this scene would have been nothing short of epic to watch, and shown just how badass the two could be, there wasn't enough emotion to justify it making the final cut. In the end, Rhodey and Nebula were able to bond over the fact that neither of them are what they once were, but seriously, how great would this have been?!
