Iron Man 3 showed that the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of Tony Stark is just as capable as his comic book counterpart when it comes to creating a wide variety of different armours - and that could signal the introduction of armours designed specifically to combat individual threats. In fact, the concept art for the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie has already shown what appears to be a Hulk Buster armour. In the comics, Stark has created such armours as the aforementioned one to combat the Hulk, a Thor Buster armour for the event that Thor went rogue and indeed a Thanos Buster armour. Maybe, just maybe, Earth (and consequently Tony Stark) will learn of the threat of Thanos (perhaps during the events of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie) and this will prompt the hero to build a counter-measure. Of course, whether or not it would take in to account the fact that the Mad Titan will be wielding the Infinity Gauntlet is very unlikely and, as such, it might struggle to take Thanos down. But if the heroes can take the Gauntlet from him, the Thanos Buster armour could do a great job of finishing the villain off.
