Avengers 4: 10 Rumours We Hope Aren't True

Ever since Thanos reared his purple-coloured head in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans have speculated about who will be the one to take him down. Nebula, his adoptive daughter, seems to be among the favourites to land the decisive blow, if articles like this one by Fandom are anything to go by.

There would be a certain poetic justice about it being Nebula. She has suffered immeasurably at his hands and already had a smouldering hatred for him before he sacrificed her sister Gamora on Vormir. She'll be on the revenge trail in Avengers 4.

Here's the important part though: Nebula shouldn't kill Thanos in Avengers 4. Nobody should. He's too much of an asset to the MCU to simply kill off. There are too many other aspects of the Mad Titan's character that must be explored further.

Thanos has never been your 'black-and-white' depiction of evil. In the world of Marvel Comics, he has fought alongside the good guys almost as much as he's opposed them, and it would be a huge missed opportunity if the MCU didn't make an anti-hero out of him post-Avengers 4... An Infinity Watch movie, anyone?
