6. Doctor Strange Gets His "Told You So" Moment
By far one of Infinity War's most devastating moments came when Doctor Strange - a man who prioritised the Eye of Agamotto over the lives of Tony and Peter - willingly gave the time gem to Thanos. As the Sorcerer Supreme says, the end game is now in full effect. And with his surrender having pretty much doomed half the universe to oblivion, he must've had a pretty good reason for doing what he did.
By now, most audiences are probably familiar with the theory that, out of all the possible futures Strange witnessed when he used the Eye before the battle with Thanos, the only one where the heroes succeed is the one where Thanos actually gets what he wants - at least for a period of time. As such, it's likely that once most of the ending is reversed, and Spidey, Strange, and the rest of the deceased ranks return, that the Sorcerer Supreme can get his moment of satisfaction.
Though Strange was introduced as one of the most powerful characters in the MCU, he only had one film to establish himself, as opposed to the several most of his cohorts have. Few would've predicted how important a part he'd have to play in these features, and yet the entire fate of the universe rests upon his shoulders.
No pressure, Stephen.
