3. Rocket & Nebula...Fist-Bump Each Other?

And this is where the trailer speculation starts to break down and become a little less plausible, with the claim that we'll see Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Nebula modifying weapons in a lab together. Rocket asks, "When can we try this bad boy out?" and the pair smile before...fist-bumping one another.

This just sounds a bit too much like goofy, implausible fan-service, though of course, context and execution are everything. In defence of the rumour, Gillan has mentioned in interviews that she'd get a new BFF in Avengers 4, and that the identity of the comrade is "brilliant and unexpected."

It's possible she's simply talking about being left on Titan with Tony Stark, but given that Thor may possibly be off with Valkyrie and Captain Marvel, it'd be pretty damn neat to see Rocket teamed with her. After all, they're both abominations of nature modified against their will, which could allow an easy bond between them.

It's still best to be pretty sceptical about this one, but remember that everyone thought the leaked "We fight!" line from Civil War's marketing was too corny and silly to be real.
