12. Why Is Harley Keener Involved?

Ty Simpkin, who played Harley Keener in Iron Man 3, has been announced as part of the cast for Avengers 4.

What We Need To Know

The big question is why? There's no way he will be playing a major role (because introducing such an obscure character to be pivotal to the story would just be weird), so we can probably expect something more like a cameo. And there's a pretty depressing reason that cameo might occur.

Could Keener be brought back in for a key event like Tony Stark's funeral? That can be the only real reason for someone with a personal link to the character but only a vague link to his story to be involved, barring the unlikely possibility that he's going to be introduced as a legacy Iron Man replacement or something along those lines.

So it probably isn't looking good for Tony...
