Avengers 4 Title Predictions: What Is Infinity War's Sequel Called?!

1. Avengers: Disassembled

Had you asked what most fans would have thought an Avengers movie coming immediately after a decimation event (not a bad title in itself, but that's an X-Men comic), there's a good chance a lot of them would have predicted Avengers Disassembled. It's long been considered an ending point to the first crop of Avengers' story lines in the MCU by knowledgable fans too.

And who is to say that the Avengers initiative needs to exist in the wake of Infinity War? It's fair to say that the first Initiative didn't work out as planned (they brought on many of their own issues and attracted their own enemies) and it broke the heroes. Doing it all again, even when the idea of them existing will ultimately bring down Thanos, would not be particularly smart.

But that doesn't mean we can't have superhero team-ups either, it's just that really, they don't need a team title and it stops Marvel having to be shackled to their Phasal approach to story-telling. And they have said they're going to mess with the format in Phase 4, after all...
