1. Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd)

Again, he might not have appeared in Infinity War - thanks to being trapped in the Quantum Realm - but Scott Lang is going to be the key to Avengers: Endgame, which is why the revelation of his escape is set up as the big narrative point of the trailer.

The question, of course, is how he got out of the Quantum Realm and that may come in Captain Marvel rather than in Endgame. It's hard to think of a means by which Scott could get out on his own (particularly when he's not exactly famed for having Hank Pym-level genius), but relying on an ally as powerful as Captin Marvel might fit.

That is perhaps doing him a disservice, since Scott became Ant-Man precisely because of his ability to break into impenetrable places, so maybe he'll come full circle by proving he can get out of one too? Either way, his knowledge of the Quantum Realm and its time vortexes will presumably be key to the rumoured time travel element of the story.
