2. Captain America (Chris Evans)

Captain America goes all single-teared French guy in the Endgame trailer after being the character given the charitable "oh God" line at the end of Infinity War. He already looks like dead-meat thanks to this teaser, which is to be expected given what we know about Chris Evans' contract, but having him that upset and looking at the keepsake picture of Peggy Carter he keeps on him at all times reinforces the imagery.

That picture is definitely setting up some sort of reunion with Peggy, whether it's an actual one at a different point on the MCU timeline or a spiritual one when Cap dies. Either way, he probably won't continue on in the MCU's present by the time Endgame is over.

It looks as though he's stepped up as the leader of The Avengers once more, as it's he and Black Widow who discuss the plan and their desperation and it's Cap who Scott Lang seeks out at the end of the teaser. And since Scott will be the key, that's an important meeting.

Curiously, Cap's wearing his Winter Soldier outfit once more, rather than his Nomad-like Infinity War costume, which suggests that he's willing to be Cap once again (hence shaving his beard off, too) but that he's not quite in the old jingoistic mode he was in The Avengers.
