Marvel Studios' entire Phase 4 slate has been delayed as a result of the ongoing global situation, and while Avengers 5 was never officially part of that, it will now be arriving in theaters even later than whenever Kevin Feige originally had it pencilled in for. The same applies to the planned introduction of the Fantastic Four and X-Men, and that's just something fans will have to accept for the time being.
There's certainly no harm in looking ahead to what comes next, though, and after Avengers: Endgame served as an epic finale to over a decade's worth of storytelling (as well as delivering a record-breaking box office haul), there's no way Disney will sit on the franchise for long. A fifth instalment is bound to happen at some point.
The question is, when it does, which of the many storylines from Marvel Comics should Kevin Feige consider adapting?
