4. Iron Man Retires (Iron Man 3)

Given that Tony Stark retired at the end of Iron Man 3, the very creation of Ultron and his drones - something that Tony did to essentially replace himself and his Avengers team-mates as Earth's protectors - could be considered to be a foreshadowing of the Age of Ultron movie. That said, you can actually look at this two ways; first, you can argue the aforementioned point that his retirement was a decision he made with something else in mind - building a robotic army to take over as protectors of the Earth - and, second, you can argue that Iron Man's retirement saw the destruction of all of his Iron Man armours because Tony Stark saw them as a potential threat that could actually become a danger to humans, which basically foreshadows exactly what happens when he creates an army of policing Ultron drones in the upcoming movie. Of course, Ultron going rogue will be what brings Stark back out of retirement, as he will need to don his armour again to fight the villainous robot, but the initial retirement was certainly a sign of Ultron coming in the first place.
