Avengers Age Of Ultron: 10 Biggest Moments Of Foreshadowing

3. Ho Yinsen (Iron Man)

Ho Yinsen - the man who shared a cave prison with Tony Stark in the first Iron Man movie, sacrificed his life to help Stark escape, and then reappeared in a flashback scene in Iron Man 3 - actually has quite strong connections to Ultron in the comic books. As a physicist, engineer and pacifist, Yinsen had disciples in the comic books and, when he died (in identical circumstances to how he died in the first Iron Man movie), they attempted to resurrect him by implanting his brain inside a sentient Iron Man armour. However, the armour in question was actually under Ultron's control at the time, leading to the followers - known as the Sons of Yinsen - to believe that he was actually a resurrected Ho Yinsen. Ultron then manipulated the followers into starting a war, which resulted in Iron Man gathering a small team to fight against the evil robot and the Sons of Yinsen. So, basically, when Ho Yinsen died back in 2008, the idea of Ultron coming always seemed like a possibility to people familiar with the character in the comic books (even though it's very unlikely that events will even remotely resemble the comic book storyline involving the Sons of Yinsen).
