Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 15 Obscure Easter Eggs You Probably Missed

It's something of a shame that there wasn't more creepiness to the Scarlet Witch power show sequences. When she first appears and does the strangely disjointed backwards walking it was a jarring vision, and it could have been pushed more to reinforce her otherworldliness.

Thankfully it wasn't entirely dropped after that first flash: during Natasha Romanoff's hallucination sequence that takes her back to the Red Room there are nightmarish additions that seem to be lifted wholesale out of Adrian Lyne's creepy horror Jacob's Ladder.

The distorted faces with removed features are certainly a reference, and the tracking shot of the hospital gurney wheel is another that feels like a shot-for-shot homage.
