Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 8 Things You Need To Know About James Spader's Ultron

7. And He Probably Doesn't Create The Vision

Another change to the comic book story line is how The Vision figures into all of this. Whilst plenty of promotional material has featured Ultron front and centre there's been relatively little revealed about his robotic brethren so far, save for a pair of eyes opening (nice visual pun there, marketing guys) at the very end of a recent trailer. The Vision is the latest addition to the Avengers line-up, with Paul Bettany moving from a mere vocal cameo in the MCU €“ he's the voice of Stark's AI helper JARVIS €“ to a fully-fledged actor. It's also been confirmed that The Vision also gets introduced to this particular story in a very different way than in the comics. In the source material, he shows up a while after the Avengers have contended with Ultron on multiple occasions; realising his usual tactics don't work, Ultron builds an android himself, designed to infiltrate the team and destroy them form the inside. Except again, Ultron did his job too well, and being programmed to €œact€ like a hero made The Vision susceptible to being convinced to just...be one. For real. So he became an Avenger, and Ultron always hated him. In the film, The Vision is set to be a follow-up creation once Ultron has gone haywire, with Bruce Banner now helping Stark out in not making his robot so crazy. Hopefully it works out a bit better than the first time...
