It's pretty hard not to look at the new Avengers line-up at the end of Age Of Ultron and think that they're not going to last in that form in the long term. As Cap and Black Widow establish, they're mostly just raw materials at that stage: Vision might be a big weapon, but Scarlet Witch is a potential liability, War Machine is cocky and Falcon didn't even want to be an Avenger.
With the new arrivals set to swell - and Bucky waiting in the wings to play some part too - you have to suspect that Kevin Feige will decide to start amping up the real body counts, rather than just pretending characters have died.
Pietro is probably just going to be the start of a kill frenzy, and it's these new Avengers who look the most vulnerable, particularly since they have one of Thanos' most wanted items in their midst.
