Avengers: Age Of Ultron - How Much Did The Actors Earn?

3. Chris Evans (Captain America)

Age Of Ultron Paycheck: $6.9 million As well as the role he will be best remembered for, Captain America could well be the last role Chris Evans ever plays. The Boston native has admitted that he€™s growing tired of being in front of the camera and wants to move behind it €“ more specifically, into the director€™s chair. His original Captain America deal contractually obliged him to appear in six movies, though he has since admitted that he is €œreally happy playing the character€ and would listen to Marvel if they wanted to extend his contract beyond their original agreement. Any renegotiation would likely see Evans asking the studio to improve on his Avengers: Age Of Ultron salary, however, which was said to be just shy of $7 million dollars. That€™s an improvement on the $3.2 million he was paid for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and you can guarantee he will have been looking for a further improvement when figures were tabled for next year€™s Captain America: Civil War. Evans has proven a resounding success as the Star-Spangled Avenger, with his first two solo films grossing over a billion dollars combined and his starring roles in the hugely profitable Avengers movies integral to their success. All good things must come to an end, however, and it still seems likely that Evans will honour his original agreement and then step aside as Cap, passing the shield on to somebody else. As it stands, the 34-year-old has completed four of his six contracted movies (his cameo in Thor: The Dark World didn€™t count towards his contract) and he will be done once the third Captain America and Avengers movies have both wrapped. It's unlikely that Evans will be forced out, however; as long as his character is still living and breathing after the Avengers go toe-to-toe with the Mad Titan Thanos in the Infinity War movies, Marvel would be stupid not to meet his wage demands and welcome him back with open arms.

Phil still hasn't got round to writing a profile yet, as he has an unhealthy amount of box sets on the go.
