Avengers Age Of Ultron Poster: 8 Questions From Details You Might Have Missed

6. Will The Final Battle Go Down At Baron Von Strucker's Fortress?

Though you might think that the choice of arches for the background of the poster might be an incidental aesthetic choice, you need only look at the first Avengers movie poster to see that setting actually means something to Whedon's marketing team. They didn't accidentally Photoshop their heroes into the location, it's a conscious choice. Since the first Avengers movie poster teased the final show-down on the streets of New York, does this mean the climactic battle against Ultron's swarms will be taking place at Baron Von Strucker's fortress in the forests of Sokovia? The arches would certainly seem to be an indication, since the location does feature a prominent courtyard lined with them. So it would seem as well as attacking the fortress early on and allowing the twins to escape from HYDRA, the action will return for another set-piece to pit the Avengers (plus the twins) against Ultron's forces. At least if the narrative of the poster actually means anything.
