Avengers Age Of Ultron Poster: 8 Questions From Details You Might Have Missed

3. Why Has Only Cap Got An Avengers' A?

It was long assumed that Tony Stark gets all of the Avengers swanky new outfits for his tenure as their "leader" (Cap has as much claim, but it would seem Tony building Avengers Tower makes him the boss), and there are clearly hints that everyone - including Stark himself - has gone through a wardrobe make-over. But why has only Cap's outfit got the Avengers insignia on it? Surely the idea of rebranding the super-team was to have them all fighting under the same banner? Shouldn't Black Widow's improved new outfit come with the same logo? Or even Hulk's new pants? Is it a mistake, or is the A meant to symbolise that Cap is actually the real leader? Perhaps that's why Marvel switched him to the front of focus for the US poster, and relegated him behind Iron Man for the European one? Or maybe that's just patriotism, y'all?
