Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 10 Awesome Moments (Not In The Trailer)
3. Hawkeye Finally Has His Time To Shine
The Avengers was hugely popular with fans and critics alike, becoming the third most financially successful movie of all time at the box office. No film is flawless though, leading some fans to take issue with aspects of Whedon's first big screen foray into the superhero genre. Of all the criticisms leveled at the Avengers, Hawkeye's lack of screen time and general shoddy treatment is the one fans have been most vocal about, to the point where Jeremy Renner himself publicly complained about his character's portrayal in the movie. To rectify his mistake and in recognition of the character's growing popularity in the comics, Whedon has promised fans that Hawkeye will receive far more screen time in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, proving why he deserves a place on the team. How this will be achieved exactly remains to be seen, but if handled right, Renner's wisecracking archer should become one of the standout characters in this sequel. The trailer only offered glimpses of Hawkeye, but if Whedon is to be believed, the non-powered superhero is likely to play a pivotal role in one of the movies key scenes. An adamantium arrow through Ultron's skull? Now that would be seriously bad ass. Whether Marvel would be allowed to mention the indestructible metal is another matter, as the term is likely to belong to Fox due to their copyright ownership over Wolverine.
