Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 10 Incredibly Disturbing Comic Moments That Won't Be In The Film

1. The Weird Incestuous Scarlet Witch And Quicksilver Relationship In The Ultimates + Papa Wolverine!

The Ultimate Universe was an early 2000s ploy on the part of Marvel to retell their classic characters stories and origins unhindered by years of continuity. It was an experiment in creating a permanent alternate universe in which writers could be free to experiment and create to their hearts' desires. In some ways it's been very successful - it has brought us the black Nick Fury and Miles Morales Spider-Man. Sadly though, it also brought us the worst possible interpretation of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver known to man - the version where the twins are basically the People Under The X-Mansion's Stairs. In one particularly disturbing moment, after the revelation that Wolverine bedded Magneto's woman some years back, Logan is witness to Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver consummating their love in the biblical way normally reserved for man to know his wife... not his twin sister. Besides the fact that a sexual affair - or even a romantic tinge - between siblings, let alone twins, is incredible rattling, the fact that Wolverine is just sort of watching from the shadows ups it tenfold. Adding in the fact that he may possibly be their real father just turns the whole sick affair into some cruel and awful joke. In this case, a little continuity and restriction would have certainly been used since discretion clearly wasn't. Suffice it to say that a scene this horrible wouldn't even make its way into the sleaziest Troma film. To have even the shadow of these events occur in an Avengers movie - or any movie ever - would spell certain doom for the franchise forever and ever. If the question, then, is "Will there be a Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch romance in Age Ultron?" the world can only hope and pray to every deity that the answer is no, as it would steal the entire movie and probably crash the entire movie industry forever.
