Avengers Age Of Ultron: 10 Outrageous Comic Moments That Won't Be Used

3. Ultron Turns Iron Man Into A Naked Cyborg Woman

After the events of Marvel€™s Civil War in the mid-2000s, Tony Stark€™s Iron Man was an unlikeable superhero in desperate need of a drastic makeover. As part of a brand new series dubbed Mighty Avengers, the creative team Brian Michael Bendis and Frank Cho took this idea a bit too literally when they used the title to introduce Ultran: a naked female Iron Man that for whatever reason looked like Janet Van Dyne (aka, the Wasp). P.S., Iron Man was also possessed by the villain Ultron. There€™s just so much that€™s wrong about this scenario. Superheroes have been possessed by their adversaries many times over the course of history, by why would Ultron transform Iron Man into a woman? And why does this woman look like the Wasp? And why is the Wasp naked? As if things weren€™t insane enough, Tony€™s teammates treat these turn of events as a very serious and dire scenario. They believe because Iron Man has been transformed into a naked Wasp-like woman by Ultron, he has obviously been murdered. Because € what else are Tony€™s teammates supposed to conclude at a time like this? Considering how Ultron€™s creator in the comics, Hank Pym, has not yet been introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there€™s a good chance that Stark is going to tie directly into the villain€™s birth in Avengers: Age of Ultron. If that€™s the case, the two characters will hopefully share a bond that leads to an interesting and riveting dynamic that engages moviegoers. Hopefully that bond will not involve changing Tony into a naked cyborg woman.
