Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 10 Ways The Heroes Could Save The Day

8. Thor - Overloading The Enemy

If Tony Stark turns out to be the man responsible for the creation of Ultron - as many people expect to be the case - you'd hope that he would have learned from his previous experiences. In the first Avengers movie, during a scuffle with the thunder god, Thor's offensive lightning empowered his own suit instead of damaging it. Whilst building Ultron, you'd hope that Stark would consider the possibility that he might go rogue, in which case he would know Thor might have to fight the robot. Hopefully, as a result, Stark would put in a fail-safe option that would allow Thor's lightning to overload him, as opposed to powering him up. Stark could then switch the fail-safe on and allow Thor to bombard Ultron with his lighting, frying him to a cinder.
