Claudia Kim was recently cast in a role described only as a "doctor/scientist and friend of Tony Stark". She has remained very coy about the specifics, but has suggested that there could be more to her character than that of a minor supporting role. This has led some people to believe that she could be the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Avengers roster - Ms. Marvel. It's certainly a long shot and Kim being South Korean is a far cry from the blonde officer of the United States Air Force that we know Carol Danvers to be in the comics, but her secretive approach when talking about her character has certainly raised expectations about what her role may be.
