4. Is Rhodey Now An Avenger?

James "Rhodey" Rhodes has now appeared in three Marvel Cinematic Universe movies to date - Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 - and has been played by two different actors in Terrence Howard and Don Cheadle. However, he has yet to team-up with the Avengers, but his confirmed appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron could be set to change that. Or could it? Exactly what role Rhodey is going to have in this movie is still uncertain. Will he get to don his armour? If he does, will it be the War Machine armour or the Iron Patriot armour? And will he be fighting alongside the Avengers or will he have his armour controlled by Ultron as a tool to fight against them? The latter idea would certainly put Tony Stark (and his heroic team mates) in a very difficult position and would give Ultron a very big psychological advantage.
