Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 13 Biggest Questions We Want Answered

6. What's The Deal With Loki's Staff?

As we've already touched upon, the sceptre Loki used in the first Avengers movie was revealed to be in the possession of Baron Wolfgang von Strucker in the mid-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and it became apparent that there was more to it than we had already seen. Strucker specifically said that those who had previously wielded it had no idea what it was truly capable of, before revealing that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were in his captivity. Previously, we had been under the impression that the Tesseract was the only power source of the sceptre, but given that Strucker appears to have figured out some new uses for it (such as potentially using it to grant Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch their powers), that glowing blue area of the sceptre may be a different Infinity Stone entirely. Could it be the mind stone (given that it had so many people under control in The Avengers)? Could it be the power stone (given that it may have granted powers to the "twins")? Or could it just be that the Tesseract had more to it than Loki realised? Given this little teaser at the end of the Winter Soldier, we will surely find out in Age of Ultron.
