1. The Real Deal/An Evil Puppet Master
As Kretschmann's revealed that he's signed on for multiple movie appearances, Marvel need to make the character last and develop him into a serious character. This means a) setting him up as an evil mastermind, and b) making Baron von Strucker BE Baron von Strucker. What we definitely don't need to see is another Mandarin fake-out! It actually worked quite well in Iron Man 3 and Trevor Slattery was a pretty fun character but once was enough. Let's not have Baron von Strucker turn out to be another actor or anyone other than the character he's supposed to be! Instead, Marvel need to make him more like an alternate Nick Fury who's pulling strings behind the curtain with numerous plans working together at the same time. So while he's a capable opponent, he can't always be in direct conflict with the Avengers as he'd be captured and unable to operate HYDRA he needs to lead and a leader has to accept that he can't always be at the head of the charge himself.
