The Rumour

With the unforgettable "everyone is here" trailer shot from Avengers: Infinity War surprisingly failing to turn up in that movie, many fans understandably expected to see it actually put to use in Endgame.

The prevailing logic was that after the Avengers travelled back in time to prevent Thanos' (Josh Brolin) snap, they'd get a second shot at Infinity War's Wakanda battle, this time with all the Avengers in tow (in particular The Hulk [Mark Ruffalo]).

The Truth

Surprisingly, this shot doesn't show up in Endgame in any form either, and appears to have been made solely for marketing purposes.

It's a hell of a visual, no doubt, and therefore almost a shame it didn't find its way until either film. But on the other hand, you have to give it to the Russo brothers, who went to incredible lengths to throw fans off the spoilerific scent.
