Avengers: Endgame - 12 Plot Hints From The New Trailer

Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton have quite the history together.

Ever since the first Avengers film, they have had a camaraderie and alliance stronger than pretty much anyone else on the entire team, thanks to their years-worth of working together even prior to the events of that film. Which is why it's sure to be an emotional scene when Natasha goes to find Clint, only to realize what has become of him in this post-decimation world.

While previous trailers had already shown off the Ronin reveal, this trailer gives us a much more intimate shot of the two of them, seemingly onboard the quinjet. Clint puts his hand on Natasha's shoulder, as she touches his hand in return, all while a line of her dialogue plays over it; "Even if there's a small chance, we owe this to everyone who's not in this room, to try."

Considering their history, the fact that Natasha was very close to Clint's family as well, and the finality in the air in this film, expect one of these characters to be dead by the end of the film. Each trailer has made it a point of emphasis to showcase their relationship, similarly to how the Russos showcased relationships in Infinity War's finale before killing off one half of them.

Smart money would be on Hawkeye, who will get himself one hell of a heroic arc, saving his family but ultimately sacrificing himself in their place.
