Avengers: Endgame - 12 Plot Hints From The New Trailer

One of the most intelligent choices Marvel has made in its marketing of Endgame thus far is just how masterfully restrained the whole thing has been.

Even now, barely a month away from release, the marketing has given next-to-nothing away about the film's actual plot, instead playing up the emotional fallout of Infinity War's cliffhanger and placing focus on the characters themselves. This has paid off in spades for them and has also allowed them to keep practically all of the action sequences out of the marketing.

In fact, up until this trailer, there were literally no action shots in any of the prior marketing materials. Luckily for wierd internet folks like me whose job it is to dig through this stuff, this trailer does give us the smallest of glimpses of the action and it is supremely exciting.

The final minute of the trailer has a few action shots, featuring characters such as Ant-Man, Nebula, Hawkeye, and Captain America. The most interesting thing about these shots is that almost all of them look to be taking place off-world, meaning that the plot of Endgame almost certainly sees at least a section of the team going to space for a large section of its runtime.

And in a bit of pure speculation, the shot of Nebula specifically looks as if it could possibly be taking place on Vormir (the planet where Thanos got the Soul Stone by killing Gamora), which is all but confirmed to play a large role in this film as well.
