12. The Timeline Changes And The Guardians Never Form

The Leak

According to one big leak, we are going to see lots of timeline messing, which has been an inevitable part of fan discussions ever since time travel was first mentioned. Specifically, we'll be revisiting the timelines of other MCU movies and the actions of the heroes in time will impact those timelines.

Apparently, the changes and retcons will only be temporary, but we'll see an alternate timeline where the Guardians Of The Galaxy never formed as a team because the Avengers retrieve the Power Stone before Star-Lord does.

We've already had Doctor Strange's quite about the millions of different possible futures and any sort of time travel WILL cause new branches, so that logic makes sense. But three hours is still a limited time frame to undo and then redo major storylines, so it's hard to see how they'd do too many of them.
