4. Tony Stark Dies

The Theory

Iron Man is a goner. Though it makes more sense that Captain America is the big death in Endgame, a detail in the Spider-Man: Far From Home suggests that Tony Stark is dead by the time the film kicks off.

It's not just that he was missing from the trailer either, it's that there's a giant cheque from his charity signed only by Pepper Potts. That in itself wouldn't be concrete confirmation, as Potts was the co-founder, but the fact that she's not called Pepper Stark on her signature is pretty telling. Does that mean her beloved - who she's married to, according to Gwyneth Paltrow - at one point in Endgame ends up being killed and their future together is wiped out?

Sadly, that looks pretty damning. Sure, Pepper could decide against taking his name, but it definitely feels more likely that Tony is now out of the picture.

It also makes the fact that in one possible version of the future they were married and had a child all the more tragic.
