3. The Revamped Phase 4 Avengers

The Rumour

In the wake of Endgame, we've already been told to expect changes to the very fabric of the MCU and some had taken that as a suggestion that we wouldn't get any more Avengers movies. But one 4Chan leak has suggested that there will be, but that the Avengers team will be completely different into Phase 4.

In other words, the original line-up will bow out and a new line-up based on "new" older members Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Captain Marvel and youngsters (the MCU's answer to the Young Avengers we've been told are coming) will replace them. That would presumably begin with a new Avengers aliance at the end of Endgame - the changing of the guard that's been so heavily hinted.

Response

The Avengers line-up is destined to change fundamentally with the retirements of the old guard and expected deaths, so it would make sense that a new iteration will form. But whether that will include the youngsters like Cassie Lang and Kate Bishop (who are widely linked to Endgame appearances) remains to be seen.

There is a rumour of a New Avengers movie coming (a Young Avengers one by another name), so perhaps the leaker knows more than most?
