1. The Snap Gets Undone Entirely

The Theory

Rather than the Avengers making Thanos reverse the snap, they will, in fact, change events so much that the snap never happens in the first place. That much is clear from the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, which has absolutely no effects of the Decimation at all.

Okay, so Far From Home showing too much would have been odd, but there's too much in there that suggests a time reset to ignore. For a start, Peter still being in the same school year means the expected time jump that kicks off Endgame has to have been reversed.

Essentially, that trailer shows that the Avengers not only have to stop the snap happening but that they'll also probably have to convince Thanos to change his mind about the best way to deal with rebalancing the universe. It's not like he'd be happy to just give up on his own, after all.
