7. How Do You Replace The Soul Stone?!

There are some real questions about Captain America's returning of the Stones to their own realities, but the most pressing at first is how the hell he manages to return the Soul Stone to Vormir.

If the rule is that you have to give up something to get the Soul Stone in the first place, is Cap supposed to unsacrifice something in order to give it back?

And more problematically, the directors confirmed that when Thanos takes the Soul Stone in Infinity War, Red Skull - the Guardian of said Stone - is allowed his freedom. So did Cap then have to go and hunt down Red Skull to give him the Stone and tell him he had to voluntarily head back into eternal, torturous servitude? Seems a bit harsh.
