Right, so maybe this one is because I am one of those film writers who went out of his way to write theories on how Ant-Man could get out of the Quantum Realm even without someone to help him out. Among those thoughts were the idea that Captain Marvel could have entered the realm and rescued him, that he might have been accidentally fired out of a time vortex into the 90s and met Captain Marvel or that a trained ant might even have been involved or something.

To be frank, the writers could have pulled the most ludicrous, logic-ignoring nonsense out of their bottoms and presented it as actual science to justify his escape and it would have been better than him literally being ACCIDENTALLY RESCUED BY A CARELESS, INQUISITIVE RAT.

Sure it's a gag that some people raised a smile at, but for the ENTIRE plot to hinge on an accident when it had been so precisely planned in terms of probability is utterly ludicrous. Maybe the point is just to poke fun at probability?
