10. Rescue

It'd been rumoured for ages that Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) would have a more substantial and interesting role in Endgame after she posted images on social media of herself kitted out in performance capture gear, and indeed, Pepper appears in the movie's final battle in her Rescue armour.

This is foreshadowed earlier in the movie when Tony finds his daughter Morgan playing with the Rescue helmet, which he notes Pepper has never worn.

This pays off splendidly when Pepper-as-Rescue emerges through one of the portals, and we get a few neat moments of Iron Man and Rescue teaming up to take on Thanos' army.

Given that many expected Rescue to join the MCU after Iron Man 3, where Pepper was first placed inside an Iron Man suit and also exposed to the Extremis virus, it was great to see Pepper finally assume her superhero persona from the comics, if only for a moment.
