Avengers: Endgame - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

20. Bad Nebula

Guardians Of The Galaxy Nebula Gamora

Considering she was originally supposed to die in the first Guardians movie, the fact that there are TWO Nebulas in Endgame suggests she's come a long way. Her personal conflict and the unwaivering desire to please her abusive father is as convincing as it is tragic and her story is definitely a good way to close out her arc under Thanos.

The fight between the two Nebulas also serves to show how far she's come (and how much she was just an extension of Thanos when we first met her) and it is another clever way of continuing the MCU's obsession with mirroring. Still, it wouldn't be right not to acknowledge that her weird whispery voice is a bit much at times.

19. War Machine

Though he's one of the survivors, it's probably fair to consider Rhodey as the lowest rung of them because he's given comparatively little to do beyond calling people idiots. He does have a good relationship with Nebula - they're united by their augmentations - and he gets some good moments in the final battle.

His finest moment comes when he interrupts Star-Lord's dancing on Morag by ignoring how much the audience are probably hyped to see it again by smashing him in the face and knocking him out. He's not the kind of man to entertain silliness, clearly.

If this proves to be his retirement, you'd probably wish he had more, but that's mostly been the case for his entire arc.
