4. It's Genuinely Full Of Plot-Holes

Avengers Endgame Peggy Watch
Marvel Studios

There are lots of really, really satisfying moments in this film. There are scenes that will have you on the verge of punching the air (or actually doing it if you aren't a Brit with a reductive sense of decorum and cinema etiquette, in fact) and there are moments that will make you laugh and cry in equal measure. Thanks to those moments, it's easy to forgive the fact that this film is utterly ludicrous.

The plot takes the only viable option and adds some interesting conceits to it, but there's a lot of hand-waving (like the attempt to explain causality and paradoxes that just seems wilfully obtuse to stop you listening properly or something) and when you start to pick it apart, it's full of massive plot holes.

There are two in particular that actually threaten to ruin the end of the film - and certainly the end of two major character arcs and the more distance there is between you and the jaw-dropping spectacle, the louder they shout.
