7. The Plot Hints And Questions

Do you feel like you know what happens in Endgame? You know, aside for a vague shape of the emotions and that there's a mission to undo what Thanos does? Of course you don't, because this marketing campaign has been a portrait of restraint.

As well as actively not showing us anything for months, what Marvel have actually shown in the trailers has been mostly very limited. The footage included is not only just from the first act of the film but it's also conspicuously vague on details. It's an absolute masterclass in whipping up conversation and speculation without actually confirming much at all. That's how you do great teaser marketing.

And because of that approach there are a lot of questions here. Where are the scenes showing Nebula and Cap seemingly in battle? Where is Ant-Man during his action scene? What is Hawkeye doing in Tokyo? There are more questions than answers and in the vacuum, fans will pour their own answers and hype this movie up even more.
