The five year time-jump had been pretty rough on everyone, but it only took one scene to know that the fallout of Thanos' snap hit Thor the hardest - simply because he was seconds away from stopping it from ever happening.

Yes, Thor's constant drunken state and inability to take anything seriously spoke louder than any words could, but apparently the writers originally had another way of getting that across: By having him pee off a balcony in New Asgard. Yup, that was a thing.

They ultimately decided against it as they felt they had already effectively achieved their goal.

It's unknown whether or not that was actually filmed, but it wasn't the only time Thor was supposed to relieve himself in the film.
