3. Old Enemies Cross Paths Again
When Red Skull was revealed to be the gatekeeper of the Soul Stone, fans were intrigued by the possibility of old Steve Rogers crossing paths with his old Captain America: The First Avenger nemesis one more time. Though it never happened, it nearly did.
During the Endgame quarantine watch party, a fan asked McFeely and Markus if an original draft included a scene between the two, the latter replied, commenting that it was the original plan but just 'never made sense' story-wise.
While that doesn't necessarily confirm if it was ever in any of the scripts, it's certainly worth including considering they once wanted to make it happen. And, if the fan theories are true, it would have presumably taken place when Steve was returning the Infinity Stones to their rightful locations throughout time.
