Avengers: Infinity War - 10 Characters Thanos Should Bring Back

1. Red Skull

Back in the 40s, before Captain America was put on ice, Red Skull had big plans for global dominion and intended to use the Tesseract to enact them. Unfortunately for him, he was no match for the undiluted cosmic power of the cube and disappeared when he touched it with his bare hands. The big red idiot.

Current Whereabouts

As with Ronan, he was "killed" by the Space Stone, but that doesn't mean he's dead either. Likewise, he could just have been absorbed and there was some suggestion that he'd be back before Hugo Weaving passed on returning,.

Why He Needs To Come Back

Partly because it would mess with Captain America and Bucky a lot, but also because he has unfinished business as a character. Red Skull should never have been limited to a single movie, and while Captain America might be retiring (or at least Chris Evans' version of him), Marvel would be silly not to revive him for a new Cap legacy movie in Phase 4.

And the best way to do that is to have Thanos free him from wherever the Space Stone sent him.
