Whether Thanos will be defeated in Infinity War is debatable, but when he's finally deposed, you can bet his adoptive daughter of sorts Gamora plays a significant part in his downfall. The Guardian of the Galaxy possesses in-depth knowledge about the Mad Titan, having been raised by him, as seen in the movie's second trailer when she briefs Tony Stark on the threat he poses and why he wants the Infinity Stones.
