What It Spoils
That Tony Stark doesn't die.
Simple as that really. It would be great for a Phase 3 ender focusing again on Tony Stark and tying up the 10 Rings story-arc, particularly as there is a lot of goodwill for the character and a huge expectation that he's going to leave the MCU entirely. Having him wrap up that loose end and then retire rather than just being killed off would be so much better.
And with a real Mandarin confirmed in All Hail The King, it would seem sloppy not to do so, with a quite wonderful team-up of Stark and Ant-Man possible thanks to both dealing with the Rings.
Likelihood: 4/10
I still have a good feeling about Iron Man 4, but it might be too much to drop it immediately after Infinity War and potentially confuse matters by having a villainous distraction
