6. The Intriguing Nick Fury/Red Skull Link

The Spoiler:

As an explanation for where Nick Fury was during the events of Civil War, it seems the film will somehow work in the fact that he's on the hunt for Red Skull.

Whether that means the HYDRA figurehead himself will return (fingers crossed) remains to be seen, but it's an interesting bit of story filling in the esablishing work for Infinity War.

The Evidence:

During the marketing trail for Kong: Skull Island, Samual L Jackson seemed to slip up and reveal a little more than he intended when he was asked about his return to the MCU:

"You didn’t see me in [Captain America:] Civil War... I’m still out there trying to figure out what The Skull is going to do..."

He was cut off at that stage, but it sounds suspiciously like he's saying the Captain America villain isn't dead and may actually still be active somehow.
