Avengers: Infinity War - 10 Things Marvel Don't Want You To Know
5. There's A 1960s Scene
The Spoiler:
At some point during the film, we head back to the 1960s. Whether this is for a flashback to the early days of SHIELD or an actual visit to the past by a character capable of affecting time (Doctor Strange) - as foreshadowing for the events of Avengers 4 perhaps - remains to be seen.
The Evidence:
This was revealed thanks to two casting calls suggesting that the film will include at least one scene set in the 1960s. The information comes via Central Casting Georgia’s Facebook posts for the project “Mary Lou,” which is the working title for Infinity War with the casting calls looking for 1960s engineers and secretaries/clerks.
Given the time period, we could be looking at the early days of SHIELD, with further hints that Peggy Carter might be involved in some way. And that wouldn't necessarily rule out Strange travelling back.
