Avengers: Infinity War - 10 Villains (Other Than Thanos) That Could Appear

6. The Enchantress

A long-term foe of Thor, Amora the Enchantress is similar to Loki in that she relies on her intelligence and magic instead of physical strength. On the occasions that she does need a strong arm, the Enchantress is able to turn to her bodyguard, the Executioner. One of Amora's favourite occupations since her introduction is meddling in Thor's relationship with Jane Foster. This was initially at the behest of Odin, who saw Thor's human relationship as a distraction. Later, Amora developed feelings for Thor herself, and the pair have alternated between lovers and enemies ever since. One of Thanos' biggest concerns in Infinity War will be getting into Asgard. The kingdom has already been established as more advanced than Earth in the two Thor films. It has been speculated that Asgard will be destroyed in 2017's Thor: Ragnarok. However, it seems likely that it will still be a significant obstacle to the Mad Titan. With that in mind, Thanos is more likely to would chose subterfuge over force to get into Asgard. Following the pattern of introducing specific enemies for each of the characters, Amora the Enchantress would be ideal as a possible opponent for Thor. Although Loki was working for Thanos in Avengers Assemble, the pair are unlikely to be on good terms if they meet during Infinity War. In addition to failing his mission in the film, Loki also lost both the Tesseract and the Staff. Oh, and his actions led to Thanos' army getting blown up by a missile. If nothing else, there have also been very few female villains in the MCU so far. Introducing the Enchantress as a credible, and long-term, enemy of Thor would help correct this deficiency.
